That is amazin, I have a 22 mile commute to work and have been parking half way so I can ride my bike. Now i am inspired to build my own motor bike so I can bike the whole way. Truly a work of art!!

Hey B,
Gotta say I enjoy your work, bikes as well as the other pieces.

Just wondering if you'd ever be willing to 'Ible one of your bikes. Would love to know the specifics on your engines and components. Been thinking of building a bike because we just spend way too much on gas each month.

Thanks,
Grey

This is one of the coolest bikes I have ever seen. I'm building a motorized bike and this is so close to what I had in mind. I have some questions about your bike.

What is the round canister looking thing in the center of the bike frame?

What is the silver bottle below the gas tank?

Where can I get some saddle bags and tool bag like that or similar ones?

Are the lights battery powered or generator powered?

Thanks.

The canister is a 1 quart empty paint can from the hardwarestore and is the toolbox for the bike .
The bottle is an expension tank and is for better trottle pickup
I got these bags on ebay . These came from a 4 wheeler bike
The lights are from a bristol sailboat and the bulbs are closet lights from home depot and work on 3 aaa batts
Sorry for the long time to answer your questions

Very nice, I especially liked your rear hub clamp as a drive solution.

I install a hub mounted sprocket adapter on all the bikes i build. It allows for
perfect alignment of the chain.

Where did you get the adapter? Did you make it or buy it? I ordered one of the kits they sell and plan to modify it a bit so the bike looks like a mini motorcycle and I heard that the sprockets are hard to line up and mess with the spokes after awhile.

BTW. Yours looks cool. Almost like the original harleys from the 1900-1910s

I bought this sprocket adapter for the black bike from Piston Bikes.com.
This is the only way to assure perfect chain alignment. They sell for about
$60.00 + ship. but are well worth it. They are not available for all hubs so i started making my own for some of my bikes i build. But every bike get one !
Also get yourself a new chain from farm supply store. You will thank me later.
Thank you for your comment
Good luck with your build

very impressed. I actually just finished my instructable over my second electric bicycle. you should really turn these into ibles and enter the epilog laser challenge, they look great! although maybe you could get some more pics of the drive system you are using.

I check out your bikes later ( like to build one too )
Thank you for your time
