Introduction: Mountain Dew Apple Enchiladas

This is one of our favorite cold winter night desserts. It is just enough sugar and Mountain Dew to keep you up thru 4 games of Yahtzee, or 2 games of Jenga, or one game of phase 10.
On the weekends spike with coconut rum and Code Red Mountain Dew. But make sure and get two liter Code red and only Bacardi coconut rum. Mix with butter mix and don't add sugar.
The spiked version goes great with dominoes and salty tortilla chips.

Step 1: Ingredients

6 ounces of Mountain Dew
1Can of crescent rolls
1 stick of butter
2 medium apples
3/4 cups of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
A stove
10*10 pan
Spoons
Knife
Serving spoon
Yadayadayada

Step 2: Mixin and Fixin

1st put the oven on to 375
Put the butter, Mountain Dew, and 1/2 cup of sugar in the pan and throw it in the oven
While waiting on this to melt, peel and slice up your apples.
Add in the cinnamon and 1/4 cup of sugar.
Stir up this concoction.

Step 3: Making the Enchiladas

Straightening out the crescent rolls. Add the apple mix onto dough and then roll it up.
During this time , I like to sing. Usually I start with "put the lime in the coconut".
Maybe get a little jacked and switch to Mumford and sons.
"YOU WERE ALL I EVER LONGED FOOOOOOR!!!!!"
I LOOOVVVVEEE MT DEW!!!!

THIS IS EXHAUSTING!!!!
I KEEP SCREAMING!!
I gotta turn off caps lock.
That's better.

Ok
Put them in the casserole dish with the melted Mountain Butter.
Put in the oven for 30 minutes or till darkly golden brown.

Step 4: Voilà

Just take out of pan and present to all your dessert loving caffeine junkies.

I made this two nights ago, everyone loved them. I'm gonna make them again when my family comes up for Christmas. I made one with mountain dew and one with sprite. Didn't taste a difference. I'm curious about using Dr Pepper. Or maybe cherry 7up.
Thanks for sharing
