By building a mousetrap car, students will understand and predict the transfer of potential and kinetic energies. Students will also recognize the similarity between the potential energy of a spring and kinetic energy.  Not to mention, have fun seeing who can make the fastest car!  Here are the different versions Instructablers have created so far!
