Introduction: Multiple Response Define Variable Set: SPSS (2.5)

Surveys often contain questions that allow respondents to select more than one answer. Managing such questions in SPSS Statistics can produce some difficulty. Each response in a multiple response question should be coded as a separate variable and then grouped under a multiple response set of variables. The multiple response set can then be analyzed using frequency counts or crosstabs. Created by the ITS Training Program at CSULA for students. This module will cover defining a variable set for a multiple response.
