Introduction: Mummy Oreo Pops

These mummy Oreo pops are a fun and easy treat to make for Halloween.

Step 1: Ingredients and Materials

To make the Mummy Oreo Pops, you will need:

Double Stuf Oreos

white candy melts (or white chocolate)

sucker sticks

candy eyeballs

Additionally, you will need:

a bowl or some sort of container for melting the chocolate

a spoon

a piping bag or sandwich bag

parchment paper

baking sheet or a plate

Step 2: Melt the Candy Melts

Pour about half of the candy melts into a microwave-safe container. Microwave for 20 seconds and then stir. Repeat until the candy melts are completely melted.

Step 3: Dip the Oreo

Place the stick into the Oreo. Dip the Oreo into the melted chocolate. You can use a spoon to help cover the Oreo in chocolate if needed. Don't worry about whether or not the chocolate comes out looking smooth; it's going to be covered up anyway.

Step 4: Eyes

Place the dipped Oreo onto a parchment paper lined tray. Gently press two of the candy eyeballs into the Oreo. Repeat step 3 and this step until you run out of chocolate for dipping the Oreos. Place the tray of Oreos into the freezer so that the chocolate will harden. This will take about 15 minutes.

Step 5: Finishing the Mummies

Take the dipped Oreos out of the freezer. Melt the remaining candy melts and pour the melted chocolate into a piping bag. (You can use a resealable sandwich bag if you don't have a piping bag.) Cut off a small corner of the bottom of the bag. Gently squeeze the bag to pipe mummy cloths across the Oreo. Use the pictures for reference if needed.

Step 6: Finished Product

After you are done adding the cloths to the mummies, they are finished. I suggest allowing them to set in the fridge for about 20 minutes before eating.

With one bag of candy melts, you should be able to make 10 to 12 Mummy Oreo Pops.
