In the 80's my family owned a beer distributorship. My brother was the general manager and he had a wire that he would pull out of his pocket straight, then hold a lighter to it, then it would change to spell out "Coors"

that's actually how anti-scald faucets work. they have a stretched spring inside them, and when the water gets too hot it pulls it closed.
