I LOVE salsa!  It's definitely the ultimate condiment: perfect on everything and so much healthier than ketchup.  Typical salsas are made with tomatoes but I thought I'd give it a different spin and use mushrooms.  Hope you enjoy it or at least get your taste buds moving in trying other salsas without tomatoes.





Step 1: Ingredients and Enjoy!

Items Needed:
5-7 mushrooms minced (I used portabella for a firmer flavor)
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp onions minced
1 tsp garlic minced
1 tbs cilantro minced
1 hot chili pepper minced
1/2 tsp sea salt

Now the really difficult part.
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
2. Place in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
3. Ready to enjoy with chips, crackers, or whatever you've got for dinner. 

this looks really good! I think I'll try it on a Mexican pizza.
