Introduction: My Drawings 2

Picture of My Drawings 2

These are my best drawings from the past 6 months. I'm going to make an art instructable sometime. Until now, I didn't have any ideas for a useful and original drawing instructable, but I think I'll make one on using oil pastels.

Iron Man-Oil Pastel
Eric Clapton-Oil Pastel

dangg im jealous loll. Keep it up.

didexo (author)2013-02-25

My favorite is the IronMan one. I like how you lit up the chest plate because of the arc reactor. Secondly I also like the shading.

knex monster (author)2012-10-18

you are a very good drawer

the_burrito_master (author)2010-10-24

The second statue of liberty is just amazing.

farzadbayan (author)2010-07-27

Pretty drawings .

amtdude (author)2010-04-07

dude. these are amazing. love the iron man. that thing is epic. im an artist 2. i suck at the realistic stuff that u do though. i draw graffiti and im prety good at it now

Oblivitus (author)amtdude2010-04-07

Yeah, thanks. As an artist, maybe you can appreciate this; the drawing of Iron Man is only 6.5x8.5 inches.

Furloy (author)Oblivitus2010-07-18

amtdude (author)Oblivitus2010-04-25

wow. that makes it even more impresive. well it could make it less cause the bigger it is the longer it takes and it needs more detail but that realy dont matter. its still awsome

prodo123 (author)2010-05-25

Which color pencils do you use? I personally prefer Prismacolor.

NickAwesome (author)2010-02-25

What brand of pastels do you use and what sketching set.

Oblivitus (author)NickAwesome2010-02-25

I use Cray-Pas Expressionist oil pastels and 2B Ticonderoga pencils.

NickAwesome (author)Oblivitus2010-02-27

Cool. I just got a 38-peice Rexel Derwent sketching collection so thats what im gana use from now on.

NickAwesome (author)NickAwesome2010-02-28

Oh and im doing a portrait of my great great great grandpa only shading with stippling

Oblivitus (author)NickAwesome2010-02-28

Cool, what's stippling?

NickAwesome (author)Oblivitus2010-02-28

Stippling is shading done only with dots of different tone and value. Its like pointilism done with value and no color. ill post the picture when im done so you can see.

TwistedParadox (author)2010-02-28

The eye's look a bit wide, Ironman is super cool however

Oblivitus (author)TwistedParadox2010-02-28

Thanks. The eyes in which drawing?

TwistedParadox (author)Oblivitus2010-02-28

Einstein and Clapton

Oblivitus (author)TwistedParadox2010-02-28

Yeah, Einstein's eyes are too large and Clapton's eyes are too wide. If you compare them to the source photos, you will find many more mistakes, especially on Clapton, that drawing was done very quickly.

knex obsessed (author)2010-02-23

Awsome i love your drawings especially the iron man and the statue of liberty you did with pencil and on GIMP

Oblivitus (author)knex obsessed2010-02-23

bassclarinet23 (author)2010-02-20

The Einstein drawing looks like a photograph.

(I don't mean you didn't draw it, I mean it's so realistic it could be an actual photograph!)

The Jamalam (author)2010-01-30

I really like the Iron man. Statue of Liberty is great too. You should go to study art at university, if you aren't already.

Holy cow ur good!!!

karzonyx (author)2010-01-25

Wow amazing drawings. I like the statue of liberty on the grid that you drew most, but I thinks the giant Iron man picture is awesome too.

Oblivitus (author)karzonyx2010-01-28

Thanks, but the iron man drawing is actually very small. It's on a 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper.

Oblivitus (author)2010-01-26

These are now on Check out my account there.

ant ant 33 (author)2010-01-24

Wow. You should go to college or uni for art maybe cuz theyre really good!

Oblivitus (author)ant ant 332010-01-24

I'm going to college for art right now.

ant ant 33 (author)Oblivitus2010-01-25

OH!!!!! Great! bet you do well with that!

Mr. Muggle (author)2010-01-20

Iron man looks so realistic!

Oblivitus (author)Mr. Muggle2010-01-22

Thanks. Guess how big the iron man drawing is. Just take a guess.

Mr. Muggle (author)Oblivitus2010-01-23

length: 3 feet
height: 3 feet

Oblivitus (author)Mr. Muggle2010-01-23

Nope. The page is 8.5x11 inches. Iron man himself is only 6.5x8.5 inches.

Mr. Muggle (author)Oblivitus2010-01-23

the way you said it just sounded like it was really big, lol

Vynash (author)Oblivitus2010-01-22

The size of a regular poster?

Oblivitus (author)Vynash2010-01-22

Give me a guess in inches or feet. __x__ feet/inches.

Vynash (author)Oblivitus2010-01-22

3 feet up/down, 2 feet wide

Oblivitus (author)Vynash2010-01-23

Nope. The page is 8.5x11 inches. Iron man himself is only 6.5x8.5 inches.

Vynash (author)Oblivitus2010-01-23
