Step 4Make the COVER
Cut two pieces out of one of the sheets of card stock. Each piece should be a little larger than a 3x5 card in order to cover the tabs on the dividers. For dividers with the tabs on top (like in the picture below) measure your cover pieces to be 3" x 5.25". The DIY Planner template set has some cover templates with guidelines for cutting them to the correct size.
Decorate the cover pieces however you like. I have my mailing address on one of the covers so it could be mailed back to me if I lose it and some nice person finds it.
Wrap the cover pieces with clear tape. This reinforces them and makes them slightly water resistant.
