Stop the blender after the banana if fully mashed.

Add the raw almonds, a small amount that would easily fit in your palm is fine.

With its center back in, replace the blender lid and grind as you would ice until the almonds have been fully incorporated.

It looks sooo good! anything you can substitute for bananas? i don't like them.

WhistlePig (author)turtlelover2009-02-24

I have no idea really, but honey might be an interesting one. The proverbial milk and honey might be the combo you seek. A little bit of sweetening is all you need. I think that some fruits high in acid may cause problems with the milk curdling, just a thought. Mango might make for a pleasant smoothie.

what can i use besides almonds i'm allergic :'(

rocksalt2342 (author)Dirk52008-07-14

I used honey, tastes great.

Yum sounds great I'll have to mix some up! But why did you enter this into the robotics contest? The only thing I can see that would be remotly a robot is the blender and you did not make any mods to it to crush the nuts better or make a robot to make the drink for you. now thats an idea!

WhistlePig (author)GWJax2008-07-10

Well I didn't on purpose. It was an accident. But if you really have to know I am the robot in question and I was thirsty.

GWJax (author)WhistlePig2008-07-10

ahhh nice come back. hehe

TheCheese9921 (author)2008-07-10

yeah but does it bring all the boys to the yard?

WhistlePig (author)TheCheese99212008-07-10

Yes, but only if you carefully place the liquid into two specially constructed flesh colored joy bags.

That's funny Timmy, I must have checked the wrong box. Give me a second and see if I can fix that.

timmy1234s (author)WhistlePig2008-07-08

oh. I was not saying it in a mean way.

WhistlePig (author)timmy1234s2008-07-08

I really didn't take it as such Timmy, I just wanted to correct the problem but they don't make that easy for some reason. Might be easier for me to just wait it out seems it'll be over in a few days anyway. Sorry about that.

timmy1234s (author)2008-07-08

why is this even in the robo contest!?!?!?

WhistlePig (author)timmy1234s2008-07-08

Yeah sorry they do not make that easy to do, but I'll keep working on it.
