Introduction: My Milkshake Is Better Than Yours
A delicious and healthy recipe for something you can drink every day with little guilt.
All of the ingredients are alkalizing. You could easily drink one every day and feel better!
Step 1: Ingredients
1 Ripe Banana
10-12 oz. Of Lowfat 2% Milk
Cinnamon or Cardamom
Some Raw Almonds
Step 2: Blend Banana
Remove the center hole cover from the blender lid and place on top of blender.
With the blender running at slow speed, add one peeled ripe banana in pieces.
Step 3: Add Almonds
Stop the blender after the banana if fully mashed.
Add the raw almonds, a small amount that would easily fit in your palm is fine.
With its center back in, replace the blender lid and grind as you would ice until the almonds have been fully incorporated.
Step 4: Add Spice
Add either cinnamon or cardamom, about this much of a teaspoon will do nicely.
Step 5: Add the Vanilla Extract
Add about 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Step 6: Add the Milk
Add your milk to blender.
Step 7: Blend
Replace the blenders lid and blend the remaining ingredients for about 45 seconds on medium speed or until it is well mixed.
Step 8: Garnish and Serve
Pour into tall glass and garnish with a few sprinkles of cardamom or cinnamon on top.
