This is a project I decided to do during my spare time in my Advanced Technical Drafting class in school, an powered exo-suit. I know it looks a little like the Edge of Tomorrow suit but that is only because that suit had some good design elements that I modeled after.

Step 1: Design Process Details

I designed each one of the large number of parts in my spare time in Solidworks. As stated before I took some hints from the suits from Edge of Tomorrow for the design of the hip and chest but everything else came from my brain.

I should note that the fist covers in the non painted pictures are not the current fist covers. the new fist covers are more like the ones in the colored picture.

<p>I have to say, I have been trying to collect the resources for an exo-suit, and am not really getting far, haha. But, I do like your suit you have here. It is similar to a few drawings I have. So are you actually making it, or do you just have the plans? If you do make it, I would like to see your process and materials. Very nice job overall</p>

<p>i cant right now but i could talk on Facebook tomorrow is that OK?</p><p>and for powering you would either have to be tethered to a power source, have an enormous stack of lithium ion batteries, have an on board generator, or (ideally but not so feasible) an mini nuclear power system.</p><p>i personally probably wouldn't use actuators, i would use a system of springs, smaller motors, and actuators.</p>
