My five blade windmill...:

My five blade windmill...:

Well, this is the beginning av my windmill, that initially seems so easy, all the way to the alternation consideration, and thanks to Mike on the net, I understood that I had to rethink the electic power system, and use PMA - permanent magnet alternater - that I am looking ofr now.

On the other hand, I did some calculation today; car alternator on idle speed is between 600 and 1000 rpm, that is 41,66667 rps; and my mill at 9 m/s wind does about 11 reves per sec, mulitplied by 2.5 - about - by the belt transission....so it should actually give out some power; and when wind increases - as it does here where I am - till over 11 m/s, it should be able to charge the batteries - but, anyway, I will of course follow advices from this US Mike, and put in a PMA....so eventually I will put the completed mill here.....dont laugh!!!!! You shall see.

PS - I will correct the step-by-step later; I am quite new on this site, so I have to learn...
