NES Bedding set

Thank you for checking out our project! As many of you know, my mother and I tried for a short time to remake this bedding set with the intent to start our own business. Fortunately/unfortunately, I was lucky enough to marry the love of my life this past year and have moved to another state! Because of this, my mother and I aren't able to sew together anymore, so it also meant the end of our sewing business and the NES bedding set. We had a great run with it, and I can't thank the community here enough for all the wonderful support we've had!

My brother has had the same bedding set since the 6th grade. For his birthday this year, my mother and I wanted to create something special and unique that would hopefully last him a while! It was tricky hiding our work from him until the last minute, but the look of surprise on his face was well worth all the effort.

OMG!! that is AWESOME!!! The pillow shams, the comforter, the bed skirt. It's all beautifully designed and perfectly executed. I would love to have a step-by-step on this one. Mario would be proud. (wipes tear) WICKED!

I've recently started making them to sell on my Etsy Shop if anyone is interested.
Not exactly the same, but it has its upsides! Machine washable, no sewing, long lasting, and durable :D

yes i did get your email, thanks. i've only just responded. currently having something similar made to this bed set made, they will be printed, and the design is slightly different. Also having some Mario Guitars made, might even be doing some Zelda ones later aswell.

That sucks that you are unable to make this bedset anymore. If you sell the instructions on how to make it, I would love to buy them. My soon to be sister-in-law is very handy when it comes to sewing. My fiancÃ©e and I will be getting married in August and my soon to be sister-in-law is asking us what we would like for a wedding gift. This would be amazing. Oh man, the misses and I would love to have this but we are not really fabric savvy. If you were to sell these, I know a lot more people that would want them, after I get mine of course. If you make another one for a queen, I would love to have it.

I absolutely love your bedding.

I understand that taking the time to post step-by-step instructions can be difficult for a newly-wed. If it's not too much trouble, could you post the materials you used (and measurements). Since you're not selling them, I'd like to take a crack at making a king-sized one myself.

I would really love to get a set of these and I know my Girlfriend would as well. I live in Australia and things like this almost never end up down here (and I'm not as great with a sewing machine as I'd need to be) so I would really hope I could purchase a set at some point, thanks :)

Thank you! I'm still debating whether or not to do a full instructable (or a few...there's a lot involved in this project). We've been approached by someone interested in having another set made, which would be a great opportunity to get better process photos.

what is your e-bay store name? so I can add it to my fav sellers. I am still really hoping on getting one :) My husband is due home from deployment in 26days!! I am so excited to see him and I know that this would be an amazing gift for him :) you 2 ladies are very creative. I have a business with hairbows and sewing cloth diapers and outfits, I totally understand how difficult sewing can be!

While I'm also on the list of "I'd kill for the opportunity to buy one of these" just having a full instructable would be fantastic if you have the time.. I'd give me something to do during the icy season.
