Introduction: Nakumara Lock

The Nakumara Lock is an extremely long-flying airplane and is incredibly easy to make. This design came from the Klutz Encyclopedia of Immaturity, and this is the best airplane I have ever made!

Step 1: Supplies

All you need for this Instructable is a sheet of paper. Cardstock is the best paper because of its sturdiness but copy paper will do just fine.

Step 2: Step 1: Fold in Half

To start, fold the piece of paper in half lengthwise and crease. Make sure the crease is very straight or the plane might not fly straight.

Step 3: Step 2: Fold Down Corners

As in the picture, fold the top two corners in to the first crease.

Step 4: Step 3: Fold Down Point

Fold down the point.

Step 5: Step 4: Fold in Corners

Fold in the corners to the middle crease just above the point.

Step 6: Step 5: Fold Up Point

Fold up the point. This will ensure the corners will not come undone.

Step 7: Step 6: Fold in Half the Other Way

Fold the plane in half lengthwise so that the point is pointing outward.

Step 8: Step 7: Fold the Wings Down

This will create wings and finish the plane.

Step 9: Done!

Your paper airplane is now finished! Throw it across the room, off a tall building, off a short building, into a box, or wherever you decide to throw it! Enjoy your plane and vote for me in the Papercraft contest!
