Required Items:

Rise Hush

Earthern pots

Matchstick

Grinder

Gas stove

Iodised salt

Pepper

Step 1: Get Good Quality Rice Husk

Get hands-on good quality rice husk. They come mostly in golden color (It may vary with the plant varieties). Make sure there is no rice hidden in the husk, just husk in its raw form. Then scorch the husk under the sun for about 5 hours to eliminate any moisture content in it.

Step 2: Fry the Husk in Earthen Pot

Under medium flame scorch the husk for about 15 to 20 minutes till it changes its color to slight black. Once the husk is super hot, make fire with a matchstick and burn the husk (husk will catch fire - you just have to start the fire ). Keep the flame on till all of the rice husk is turned to ashes.

Step 3: Grind It Down and Filter Our Heavy Particles

Once the Husk ash is ready, take it out and gride it into ash powder. I mean it - if there is any ash particle in the powder then it will seriously hurt your tooth so be cautious. Further, remove any existing ash particle using winnowing.

Step 4: Flavouring Your Toothpaste

Mix iodized salt (powder) with pepper powder in 1:2 ratio which will give you a flavoring touch and also it has many medicinal properties in Ayurveda for gums and tooths. Clove, Barleria prinoitis bark, Cinnamon (in powdered form) can also be added to it. Now add husk ash to the flavoring powder in 20:1 ratio. Mix it well and keep it in a tight moistureless container and use it before 6 months from the date of production.
