Introduction: Naughtylicious - Lingerie

Lingerie takes very little fabric....but costs sooo much! Why is that?
Perhaps it's because we are too embarrassed to make our own? It was kind of difficult for me as...I had to go to my mom's to dig up for left over fabric, lace and her machine.
I had a time answering all the questions from everyone...specially my mom's helpers...while sewing the frills for the top...I said it was a valentine pillow! haha
I know....you must be wondering why all the fuss...well...I come from a very very conservative society!
such attire publicly displayed publicly is considered scandalous :-D...not that the younge generation don't wear them....we do wear them..and plenty more...displayed only for our husbands ;-) to keep up the spice as long as we can..after all....we strongly believe in ' till death do us part!'

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Gather your eti biti fabric and lace.
soft satin or silk will do and matching lace about 1.5" - 2" wide
elastic and basic sewing skills
if you cant handle a machine.... you could always sew by hand

Step 2: The Top

Measure around below your bust....
divide that in 2 and cut 2 rectangles...say below bust is 30,..then you take 15" by  16" long...or ..how ever long you want
don't worry  about sewing allowance...the lace will take care of that!
cut one square in half...so it would be 15 x16"
now place your 2" border around on 3 sides of  each of the rectangle and  and sew on top...gather at corners so that you get a rounded edge.
Next take 2" or  1.5"  less than your bust measurement ( i guess it varies according to each one :-)) and cut a strip of lace.
first place the smaller rectangles on each end and  sew...now place the larger rectangle and in the center ...slightly overlapping  the lace of the others and sew.
attach ribbons to the ends and sew
Btw....I didn't sew a hem for my plain red satin...to avoid fraying I used a soldering iron and burned the edges to avoid fraying...quick simple and easy...do the same for the ribbons :-)

Step 3: Halter

Drape the lace around your neck to fall just over your bust and below...cut it off
cut a random length of lace and fold in half and cut an angle....place the lace just after the lace in the front and sew
then...place the long lace which you mesured by draping around your neck next to it and tack ...please check pictures for clear directions. close up only the bottom where the lace joins. Now attach another lace at the outer edge at an angle...pin all and place on dummy or self  and check....if happy sew. please check pictures on where to sew...as i have left room for a peek a boo ;-)

Step 4: Peek a Boo Lacy Thong!

To do Peek a boo lacy thong I took a long length of 50" . attach it and make a circle...stretch and sew elastic around the straight side. attach a 7.5" ribbon at the edge.
now fold and cut lace to form a 'V'  sew it.
fix the other end of the ribbon to the bottom of the 'V'
find the center in the front and attach the 'V' to the frilly lace.
Now you have your peek a boo lacy thong!

Now surprise your love!

I have entered in the valentine contest...so please..if you like it...vote :-)
even if you don't like it....i would really like your vote! haha
