Step 3 Converting Water Guns to Nerf.

This is SIMPLE. Just strap on a barrel to where the water flows from. This is probably the easiest thing to do, and the most effective.

My water guns shoots a good 150' feet. Its absoultly scary to be honest. These aren't your old nerf gun, this thing will hurt. Alot.

are you sure about the 22 inch barrel? i just modded my supersoaker just by hotglueing on a nitefinder barrel, but the darts spin out of control, and the darts go anywhere except for the point i'm aiming at. i know thats because the barrel is too short, but isnt 10 inches long enough? thnx

Yes. Extremely strong air-powered guns such as this will benefit most from barrels about 2 feet long. The barrel should also be a loose fit on your darts, but not loose enough that they can fall out on their own. Also, you may want to open the gun up and see if there is an "Over-Pressure Release Valve," what we in the Nerf Internet Community (NIC) abbreviate as "OPRV." An easy way to tell if a gun has one is to pump air and listen for a difference in tones in the later pumps. If there is a drastic difference, then there is an OPRV, which you can plug with hot glue or epoxy once you find it. They are usually located on the pump itself, and if not then somewhere nearby.

oh yeah? i have the internals of an at3k modded to be a 1pump yes i said one pump 60 foot super pistolthat gives welts and rips darts as thyer comin out the brrel that only sumtimes though but it makes my unweighted stefans wobble. SUCK!

Oh. You can use metal washers, too. They work pretty good.

any water gun that is a supersoaker product dat requires pumping and then puling the trigger will work cut of the nozzle and glue on a barrel or coupler =)

Uh ya i guesse it could my friend has the one you are talking about and it is a little bit worse then the other ones that you pump and then shoot. but it will work over all i helped my friend with that and he loves it. oh and the dude below my comment it will shoot water.

Does it work w/ a SS max-d 5000? thats the type I have. also-what diameter should the barrel be?

any gun from the supersoaker that requires u to pump it then pull the trigger will work cut of the nozzle that restricts air flow and glue a 1/2 inch diameter barrel or coupler for interchangeble barrels and longer barrels for water guns work the best i would recommend a 22inch long barrel =)

 7/16 is not  an available size of brass tubing. what you must have meant is 17/32 (works for stock darts, and very narrow fbr) or 9/16. ready to help as always :)

really, I think you just take a pipe the size of a dart and hot glue/glue the pipe in place.

You can use lots of hot glue or epoxy, I guess. I still don't have my 1/2", so I don't really know for sure. Maybe you should shorten it or get a shorter barrel. Or maybe just use a more hollow or new barrel. Good luck, and sorry about your wait.

Well usually people will take apart the nozzle and put brass or PVC pipe on as the barrel. You usually can find more of these on the internet with older guns.

Doesnt it work better to take appart the nozzle and make a sniper out of it? Or is the whole so big u dont need to take apart the nozzle? Point is... Can u make a rifle or sniper out of the flash flood?

Great idea i like it alot but i tryed it with a papertowel roll lolz and it worked pretty good or a crappy piece of cardbord.
