Nerf Guns are air powered toy guns that shoot soft foam darts. They're cheap and easy to use out of the box, but they are often in serious need of modification so that they shoot further, faster and more accurately. Ok. I modded my Maverick so that it would shoot farther. I took the air restricters out, and put it back together without touching the innards. Now it won't catch the spring, and it gets stuck in mid-cock. How can I fix it?

Um... not sure if this is what happened to you but, when you take out all the screws and then take of the thing that you pull back to cock the gun, one of them has a small metal rod sticking out of it and you have to hook a spring that is close to the top of the gun on that metal rod. Hope that helped fix your problemo! -Frindle
