New way of making a ferrofluid. Costs less than 3$!!!

I used a glass bottle to put tapes acetone and a wire brush as an aggitant to better scrub off ferric oxide, and then I used hard drive magnets to pull the ferric oxide from the tapes as well.

Also, preferably do not use a plastic bowl, as you run the risk of dissolving the bowl as well. Glass/ceramic is perfect.

I think that's the point of the magazine over the tub, to stop the acetone from evaporating too fast and having a lot of fumes build up in your work space. Container w/airtight lid would be better probably.
