Every morning billions of people wake up, get dressed, and eat cereal. Hundreds of thousands of these people also like to do puzzles and crosswords in the newspaper as they eat their breakfast. In the 21st century, people no longer have to hold both a spoon and a pen. Now they can use the official Newspaper Puzzle Spoon to both eat cereal and do the puzzles in the morning with one hand!

Here is a very simple guide on how you can make your own very special Newspaper Puzzle Spoon.

How do you wash this?

Either you use waterproof tape and ABSOLUTELY seal every single crevice, or the tape will fall off causing it too fall apart, or the water will seep into the back of the pen tube causing an inky mess in your dishwasher..

When can I pick this up at Brookstone?

cool, but one problem: the pen might accidentally leave ink in the cereal, and thats a lawsuit waiting to happen. Put "I do not take responsibility for any results this might produce. Meant for educational purposes only."

As long as you tape every opening there is with the duct tape and didn't cut the ink cartridge way too short, there will be no ink leaking out.

oh thats better!

brave guy using a pen for the CW.....i'd be more inclined to hook up a pencil....but where'd the eraser go?

true, but you can always substitute a pencil for a pen in the 3rd step although it might add a bit of bulkiness to the spoon.

Looks useful, however the milk might dribble down your spoon onto the crossword, making everything all treacherous and swampy like.
shooby says: Nov 20, 2007. 2:06 PM
yeah, great idea: simple, cheap, useful.
