Travel in time with your old furniture

Step 1: Find It

You may find something old on craigslist (aka leboncoin.fr in France) or in your family. Mine is from my wife's grandmother.

Step 2: Take It Apart

Depending on your table design it will be more or less easier. Don't be lazy, paint coverage will be much better with everything disassembled.

Step 3: Remove the Polish

No secret there; the sander first and tiny corners with sandpaper.
Tips : to get screws and hinges brand new, dip it in a bucket of acetone for the night and rub it to remove old polish.

Step 4: Paint It / Re-assemble It

Classic Paintjob:
- universal primary layer
- two deep blue acrylic layers
Assemble it back, enjoy.

Wow, the change is huge! It's very sharp looking now :)

I love it! I paint everything in shades of blue! :)
