Ninja tag

This is my first instructable so be nice. Ninja tag is a game that I made up that is played in the dark and it is very fun to play. It is a combination of tag and ninja awesomeness.

Step 1: Players

You need at least 6 people to play and there is no maximum number. There are 2 types of players, ninjas and civilians. Ninjas wear ninja uniforms and civilians wear street clothes. There should be a ratio of 5 ninjas to 1 civilian.

this isn't Naruto ninjas use all weapons its called kayakujutsu the technique of pyrotechnics

What the heck is Naruto?! Well, anyway, I do know now that pyrotechnics is in the arsenal of the ninja. I did the research a couple of weeks ago. Quite interesting really. Any info you can give me on the subject would be helpful. The extent of my research was books and wikipedia. Thankfully more books than wikipedia, but the damage is done and I probably got some bad information from that site. Thanks.

No, guns need skill. And it's dark, airsoft guns have a very short range, you need to use the iron sights, and most spring pistols have very poor iron sights.

Guns dont need skill; just a finger to pull the trigger. Good airsoft guns can shoot 100+ feet accurately. You DONT need to use iron sights, and what's so poor about iron sights?

Also, it's dark so you can't see anything. You try shooting a crouching, mansized target with a $20 walmart spring gun at 100 feet when it's pitch black. If you can do it, post a video.

Great idea
played in a forest at night with my ninja friends
used wooden swords and rubber shuriken
we have the cool Giko suits and padded armour 
so not to much pain

We used to do something similar in Medieval Enactment, but with different weapons and less sneaky.

I hate to be a hater, but this is a very good way to get seriously injured. i feel if you were to change the weapons it would be safe. Also, guns of any kind are kinda un-ninja like. this is because ninjas killed silently and guns arn't all that silent. but i like the over all idea. :D

no offence but havingg padding on anything sharp won't work, it will simply cut through the foam...might I reccomend belegarth weapons on geddon.org?

Or put a hard plastic strip over the sharp part then put foam over that.

hah i like this game. my modification though; play only at night. civilian gets a flashlight. ninja get their ninja-ness.
