Introduction: Nintendo Wii Stand

About: I'm a 15 year old kid who loves to make stuff with his hands. I hate having to pay someone to fix something, that why i like to fix it myself!

In this instructible i will teach you how to make a Stand to hold you Nintendo Wii, games, and controllers. This is pretty easy to do if you have the right tools. I found that you can buy this at walmart for about 50 bucks. But i decided to make one myself and use the extra cash to buy mario kart!!

Step 1: Materials

You will need:

-some typed of saw (to cut wood)

-plywood ( or whatever you have laying around)

-two different colors of paint (your color choice)

-ruler

-sander (for final touch ups!)

hammer and nails (or screws with electric screwdriver)

Step 2: Cut Out the Wood

you will need in the end to have 6 pieces of wood. the two side walls. ans the four shelves.

the side walls seed to be 3feet high, and 9inches wide. you will need two of these. make sure that these are cut cut exactly to these directions.

the shelves are 8inches by 9inches. you need four of these.

NOTE: the shelves must all be the exact same size!! if they are messed up, you whole shelf will be as well.

Step 3: Paint!

this step can be chosen to be done now, or at the end. whichever you prefer.

I painted the two walls white with paint straight from home depot.

then the shelves i painted black with spray paint.

it dose not matter what you use to paint them with, but just make sure you even it out. you DO NOT want globs of paint on your wii stand.

choose some nice colors. :)

Step 4: Nail It Together

first off, nail the top and the bottom shelves to the white sides

Then measure 15inches from the bottom and nail another shelf their.

Next measure 11 inches and place the final shelf there.

you now have a wii stand!

Step 5: DONE

your done! semd me photos if you actually do this project! i wanna see!!
