BLT's are my favorite sandwich! I love them! The bacon contest is why this recipe even exists! I have been playing around with garlic and made this sandwich for lunch today! I have a new favorite sandwich and this instructable will show you how I converted an ordinary Blt. into something more adventurous! Let's get started!

Step 1: Ingredients and Utensils

Depending on how many people you are feeding will determine how much is needed.  I used one garlic bulb per sandwich, and 6 slices of bacon per sandwich. The rest of the ingredients would be what ever you prefer.

Baby spinach
Shredded cheddar cheese
Small bell peppers
Italian Bread
1 inch layer of Kosher Salt
Few teaspoons Olive oil
A couple of rosemary springs
Salt and pepper
Muffin pan, cookie sheet, tin foil, and cutting tools. Bakers twine makes a pretty presentation.

You're sandwich speaks for itself. I'd like to know a little more about garlic roasting. It looks like you reserve that muffin tin and salt just for this purpose. <br> <br>I don't get fresh garlic because we can never use it fast enough. Have you ever tried freezing the roasted garlic paste? This could be life-altering technology for us.
By the way you will eat one whole garlic for each potato. It has a very mild flavor! Not like raw.
I always make a lot of roasted garlic when I make it because we eat it up so fast! I have read freezing the garlic changes the quality. I have never tried it. Garlic is a low acid food so I am not sure if roasting it changes that aspect of the garlic. <br> <br>I roasted the garlic with the rosemary so the garlic would pick up the flavor of the rosemary. Um, this Instructable is worth it for the garlic mayo alone...the sandwich is a bonus. I've been roasting garlic for years, but this is my new method. Kudos.
