Hi, I wanted to make my prized Chibi Vampire manga books well protected. Well after much thinking I thought of an answer, why not build a case? After searching Instructables, I did not find a Instructable to suit my needs. After many weeks of planning I knew how I was going to build my case.
Like the title says it requires no sewing experience at all. None. So you can build with me or just read my Instructable. Hope you enjoy it!

Note: the books may have cover changes. this is because I lent one of the Three I have, and got this one the day before.

When making your case you need to know several things.

1) How big do I want it to be? This includes measuring you book, materials using, etc.
2) Do I have enough material? Enough fabric, glue, etc.
3)What should I use for my Backbone?

Materials needed:
Fabric, any kind will do.
Hot Glue gun and Glue.
Some kind of binding unit. i.e. Hook and loops, Velcro, etc.
Backbone unit. i.e.  Wood/Metal sheets.

Materials used:
Denim
Hot Glue Gun and Glue.
Magnets
Cut pieces of White board.

Great!  My manga tend to get a little roughed up if I take them places, like my most recent victims, Gyo 1 and 2 (which were my favorites).  Unfortunately, the corners get all gunky, pages flip over, covers bend backwards, and the beautiful, matte black cover turns to a disgusting, barely held together sheath for the pages inside.

Tends to happen.  I remember the first puppy I beat with manga.  His name was Sam, and I used Vagabond (the second book in the series).  The blood from the canine's head really enhanced the gory effects of the samurai action.

Cats only learn after they receive internal damage.  But then again, it depends on the species.  For instance, Himalayans will learn if you just look at them sternly because they have very fragile feelings.  Siamese cats on the other hand require massive internal bleeding before they are even house trained.  They're also masochistic animals, so you have to be aware of your knives.

It was the wolf's fault.  Shoot it with a shotgun shell filled with rocksalt.

That would kill it though!  You need something that will maim it for days and days, licking the wound and whimpering at every passing muscle movement!  Just ask my sister, I've tried it on her before.

Except hers was filled with sand and habanero pepper powder.

Nice design, I usually read when I take public transit to and from work, but I find my books get beat up when I take them in and out of my bag, this is a great way to protect them.
