No-Sew Dog Bed Out of an Old T-Shirt!

Since my "No Sew Blue Jeans Dog Bed" I have taken on the no-sew way of thinking.

In this Instructable I will take you through the process of making your own "No-Sew" dog bed out of a single T-Shirt!

All you need is 1 XL or XXL T-Shirt and a pillow - apart from that, scissors and skill are the only other things you need!

My neighbors dogs love their new bed (as you can see!) and one of them sleeps on it at night! (It can't fit two at once...)

So, enough of the intro - lets get started!

Step 1: The Beginning Cuts

To begin with you will have to cut the sleeves off of the shirt.

Once cut off you will then have to turn the shirt into a diamond.

When turning the shirt into a diamond you will need to keep a portion of the sides in-tact and you will have to cut off the collar and the waist hem.

When you have made your diamond you can move onto the next step!

Step 2: The Folding - and Cutting.

Now you have to fold and cut the shirt.

Fold the shirt in half bringing what was the top down to the bottom.

The top corners of the triangle should be "naturally sewn" and the bottom of the triangle is where the neck line and waist line were.

Cut tassels into the shirt like shown, each tassel should be about 10cm long and 1cm wide.

When all the tassels are cut you can move on to the next stage :)

Step 3: Knot the Best Step...

You probably guessed it - in this step you will not only have to put together your bag but knot it up too!

You will need to get two opposing tassels and knot them together using a simple overhand knot.

The idea of this step is to create a bag.

When there are about 10 tassels left to knot up you need to stuff the pillow!

Step 4: Stuffing.

Now it is time to stuff the pillow.

Grab an old pillow and making sure it is polyester you need to cut it open.

Stuff the polyester into the "to-be-pillow" and knot the other 10 tassels together.

When you are finished you can tighten all the tassels and knot them again if you see fit.
