No Sew Fleece Blanket

Step 7Continue around the blanket

Continue around the blanket
Tie all the fringes together on all four sides of the blanket. You are Finished! Wasn't that easy? All the knots should be snug up to the blanket, but not too tight. The finished blanket should lay flat.

Tip: If your blanket is square (all four sides the same length) you can turn the top so that the stretch goes in the opposite direction of the stretch on the bottom piece. This gives a more stable blanket.

Use the same directions to make pillows... if you have a 12-inch pillow form, cut two pieces of fabric that are 24-inches square. Tie three sides, insert the pillow form and then finish tying the 4th side.

That's a really neat! I love snuggly fleece blankets, so this would be a great way of making a two-colored extra-comfy blanket for our couch :D

Ah I love these blankets. They make for great baby shower gifts as you can make them really quick. If you are doing it for a baby shower I would suggest putting a line of stitching around the edge as you never know what this blanket could be used for and just keeps it together even better.

Thank you so much for such detailed instructions!   I've been looking all over to find instructions to make these blankets.  Oddly, local big-chain craft stores had no idea what I was talking about when I asked if they carried the instructions.
