Ok i've never played Final fantasy so that's why i'm asking. Why does he have a motor for the hilt?

I dont use wood in anything i make. making stuff without wood just makes it a better challenge, plus if i asked my parents if i could make sword out of wood theyd probably think id murder my brother with it...... but i wouldnt....................
I think Tetsuya Nomura designs this stuff ever since FFVII. I think its a falchion with an engine for the hilt
You can see all my Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts stuff on this slideshow www.instructables.com/id/The-Final-Fantasy-and-Kingdom-Hearts-Collection/ no wood included : )
Im currently working on FF collection 2
