Unlike many other models, the Nokia 6280 doesn't seem to made so that users can remove the display cover themselves. This annoys those who get dust in between the actual LCD and the display cover, which is a lot of owners... Actually, over time, it's everyone.
Inspired by a short instruction on the Mobileburn.com forum, I thought a more precise instruction would be useful.

Thanks to Moby at http://forums.mobileburn.com/showthread.php?t=12888

Step 1: Locating the clips holding the cover in place

First we need to release the two upper side clips and the top clip.
Open the slider, place the phone so the rear side is facing up and note where the top clip and the upper side clips are located.
I found a shop on the Internet: fashionclpumps.com The shoes are very elegance, beautiful riches and honour
thx for this instructable !! its really perfect i didnt know u can open it like this so that u can clean it and by watching it i managed to fix the screen by putting the cord in the right place thx again !!
excellent , this was a quick 2 min fix, excellent instructions. Just fingernails needed to help pry the sides ! thanks
what to use in order to remove it.. do i need to use an object to ditached those on the sides?
Well, your fingernails. Hold the display in one side and at the other side pull the edge apart from the display with a nail. Pull just enough for the clip to loose its grip.
Brilliant easy to follow - thanks so much - I then used another site to replace the lcd - I couldn't find those instructions on here. Now got my phone working again thanks to you.
Thanks! My 6280 is now free of dust!
Fantastic! Other forums tell you not to do this as it will invalidate the warranty, but this is SO simple and quick!! Thank you SO much.
Hi does anyone know where abouts the mic is located on the 6280 is it on the screen half or the full keypad half if it is the latter how does the keypad cover come off cheers.

Fantastic! Really easy to follow when you sit down with your phone in front of the computer. There's so much dust I could hardly see the screen before! Cheers.
You said to release the clip... but how do you do that? What exactly should be done with that clip...press it...in which direction?
I updated the text to explain how to release the clips. Hope it is more clear. I've tried to make the text both concise and precise.
Sorry i don't understand that
What part? I've tried to make the text more clear. Use the image highlights to identify the different parts. Better now?
I don't think it's that complicated to do, but I haven't really got time to check it at the moment, sorry.
