Slice you cabbage as thin as you can get it. This is the hardest step in the whole dish.

How do you make it? I like to learn new ways to prepare it.

My Grandmother would slice it super thin and then make a dressing of sautéed garlic and vinegar and put it on top. Basically raw cabbage with Garlic dressing. Yum!

our version was very basic, we simply sliced cabbage and fried it in olive oil and seasoned with black pepper, we may have added onion or garlic i can't remember

if you like cabbage salads, i may have to post "crunchy salad" which is a recipe of a friend noodle packet that is the best salad on earth!
