Nutella Brownies | Three Ingredients

I am about to change your life.  I am about to make you the happiest person on the planet.  I am about to show you how to make brownies with only three ingredients.  And I am going to exploit the inherent fantastical properties of Nutella in doing so.

See, Nutella already has fat, milk, and chocolate in it.  Since those are the things you would normally be adding to traditional brownies separately, why not use a product that already has these things - and hazelnuts!  See, you knew Nutella was amazing.  But maybe you didn't realize its full potential.  Until today - the day you met three-ingredient Nutella brownies.

Go.  Make these. Now.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup (280g) Nutella
  • 2 eggs
  • 10 tbsp (62g) flour

Directions:
  1. Put it in a bowl. Mash it up.  Pour into a pan or muffin tin.  Top with hazelnuts if you're feeling extra fancy.  Bake at 350F (180C) for around 30 minutes (less time for cupcake form, more time if the centers aren't baked through).

That's it. You're done. Eat them.  Revel. Be amazed.

You're welcome.

I made these in a no-flour emergency at the weekend and then blogged - http://www.conqueringcrafts.com/2013/02/not-pancakes-but-possibly-even-better.html - they were delicious!

I am far from good at baking and I am sure this is a dumb question but I am guessing it is self raising flour but I just wanted to be sure, :)
scoochmaroo (author) in reply to Pixie PuddleDec 6, 2012. 5:26 PM
I just used all-purpose flour. You could certainly use self-rising for even more height!

Costco Nutella = 2 - 26.5 oz jars for $11.30. I had never had Nutella before today. Yep, Scootch, you have changed my life! I wonder what else I can use it for.....

*Scooch* Sorry about the extra letter. There was some sticky batter on my keyboard. Yeah, that's it.

Great recipe! The only thing I will add is that if you make this recipe for 12 brownie bites in a muffin tin, then bake for only 22 minutes. Oh, calorie information is 182 calories each (if serving 12). They are da bomb when I fill a syringe with melted nutella (and a tiny bit of butter) and inject some in the middle for an additional flavor explosion!

Only one word: !!!!!WOW!!!!!

First of all, a lesson in nutrition. Nutella is one of the main things in my nutrition plan. Next...where in the world can I big enough container without a daily trip? How about a one gallon bucket? Pleeeease. Oh, brownies are a regular part of the diet and is better than drugs to improve my mood. Add that to the need for as much Nutella I can get. Someone in the house eats it with a spoon!!

We can get restaurant sized containers at our local Costco type place. But I do live in Europe, so....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h2jNDJ48Rk is a terrific spot to learn how to make your own Nutella. There are others. Also other recipes. Could be dangerous...

I will go there as soon as I THANK YOU!!! The price here is about 5$ for the small jar...((HUGGS)) Jeanie

I noticed the other day another hazelnut and chocolate spread. Pretty sure it was Walmart, their Great Value brand. No idea what it tastes like but I like a number of the other Great Value items.

Jif now makes a similar product.

scoochmaroo (author) in reply to davidfarrell116Oct 15, 2012. 11:31 AM
I used plain, but I suspect self rising will cause them to rise more!
