Step 1: Muffin Batter

113g / 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter Melted

168g / 3/4 Cup Caster Sugar

2 Large Eggs

250ml / 1 Cup Hazelnut Milk

1tsp Vanilla Extract

4tbsp Nutella

3tbsp Cocoa Powder

250g / 2 Cups Self-Raising Flour

115 g / 2/3 Chocolate Chips

+ Nutella Truffles

Instructions

In a bowl, whisk the butter sugar and eggs together until pale foamy. Add the milk, vanilla and Nutella and continue mixing until everything is incorporated. In a separate blow, sift together the flour and cocoa powder. Pour the wet mixture into the flour mixture and gently fold together. Add 3/4 of the chocolate chips and continue to mix everything together. Spoon half of the mixture into muffin cases. Add the Nutella truffles and cover with the remaining muffin batter. Finish by adding the remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake at 180 degrees C / 356 degrees F for 18-20 minutes. Leave to cool before serving.
