You will need:
A cat
Cardboard strips
Construction paper
Glue
Tape
Hole puncher
Cat treats
Nyan Cat background music (optional)

Good Luck!

Step 1: Step 1: Let's Get This Pop-tart Started!

First, locate your cat and supplies. I am using my sister's cat, Oscar B.B., but we call him Oscar for short.
Next, measure your cat. What I did was cut strips from a Dr. Pepper box and wrapped them around my Oscar.
Let's Begin the pop-tart. I didn't have any tan construction paper, so I just used orange paint + white paint. After you have your tan paper cut to size, cut your light pink paper so there is a border between the two colors. Glue them together. Next comes the easy/hard part. Easy= punching out the hot pink circles with a hole puncher. Hard= glueing them on the paper. What you'll do is punch out the sprinkles, then place random small dots of glue on the paper. Wait for the glue to dry, then proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Step 2: Rainbow

Cut out all of the colors of the rainbow with your construction paper.
Here is the order:
Red
Neon pink
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple
Light purple
White

After you cut the paper out, glue the pieces together. You'll need to wait for the glue to dry on this step too.

Step 3: Step 3: Adding the Pieces Together

Infront of you, you should have your
Glue
Tape
Cardboard strips
Pop-tart
Rainbow
Cat

If you do, glue your pop-tart and rainbow together.

Step 4: Step 4: Finishing Touches

Now that you have your whole costume practically done and together, all you have to do is glue/tape the pop-tart to the cardboard strips and get it on the cat. Depending on how fat your cat is this is pretty easy, even for Oscar who is pretty fluffy. After you assemble everything, you are ready to parade your cat around your house with it's costume on.
