Introduction: OIL OR DIAMOND STONE HOLDER,

About: I am new to instructables so please bare with me at times , will be much appreciated .love music & playing guitar love crossbow,s enjoy making things out of nothing up for new challenges, ie projects. c...

THIS IS A QUICK AND EASY INSTRUCTABLE TO DO,

SORRY BUT I MISSED A PIC .

BUT YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM,S WITH THIS

Step 1: QUICK & EASY INSRTUC, MEASURING

TO BEGIN

FIND OR SAW A BIT OF WOOD, ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR PIECE ,

LAY THE OIL STONE ON TOP OF THE FACE,

THEN DRAW AROUND THE STONE,(BASICALLY USING THE STONE AS A TEMPLATE)

LEAVE ABOUT 6MM ALL THE WAY AROUND THE STONE ON THE WOOD.

Step 2: CHISEL

ONCE YOU HAVE MARKED YOUR MEASUREMENTS .

TAKE A CHISEL AND MAKE YOUR WALL, HITTING THE CHISEL WITH A MALLET ALONG THE MARKED LINES FROM YOUR MEASUREMENTS.

THEN CHISEL AWAY UNTIL YOU REACH YOUR DEPTH LINE (SORRY FORGOT TO MENTION THIS, EITHER MEASURE HALF THE THICKNESS OF THE STONE, OR CAREFULLY HOLD THE STONE AND DRAW ALONG IT WHILST HOLDING THE STONE SO THAT HALF OF IT IS IN LINE WITH THE WOOD)

NOW CHISEL AWAY UNTIL YOU REACH THE DEPTH LINE YOU DREW

Step 3: TRIMMING.

NOW IF YOU HAVE A SIDE RABBET.

USE IT TO CLEAN UP AND CLEAR ANY PARTS THAT MIGHT OF BEEN MISSED WHEN YOU WAS CHISELING.

IF YOU DONT HAVE A SIDE RABBET.

A RASP WILL DO FINE.

Step 4: FILE THE HARD TO REACH PART,S

USING A NEEDLE FILE.

FILE ANY PART,S THAT HAVE OR ARE HARD FOR THE OTHER TOOL,S TO REACH.

THEN SAND TO A NICE CLEAN HOLDER.

Step 5: WALA

WALA,

YOU NOW HAVE A HOLER TO PUT YOUR OIL, OR DIAMOND SHARPENING STONE IN.

PLACE IT IN A VICE.

OR PLACE A RUBBER MATT UNDER IT AND IT THEN MAKES SHARPENING YOUR CHISEL,S OR WHAT EVER TOOL YOU LIKE.

YOU COULD MAKE A LID FOR IT.

THANK,S FOR PASSING BY.

PLEASE STAY SAFE AND .

MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL.
