Introduction: OSMC/XBMC/Kodi Media Centre

I recently got 2 raspberry Pi B models and Have been playing with XBMC/Kodi a lot on my computer. So I decided that I want to build my own Raspberry Pi Media Centre. This is my first Instructable so please be gentle with me.

Step 1: Download the Software

1. On your computer, go to the following address

https://osmc.tv/download/

2. Select your current Operating System (In my case I chose Windows). After selecting this, it will start an automatic 3.20 MB Download.

Step 2: Getting Downloaded Software Ready

Insert your memory Card into a compatible slot in your computer

Open the downloaded "osmc-installer.exe" and follow the steps as shown in the pictures.

On the last Picture my memory Card was not shown because it is in my Raspberry already.

After the setup has completed you can remove the memory card and insert it into your Raspberry Pi.

Step 3: Installation

This process will automatically start when you power on the Raspberry Pi.

During this installation you will notice that the Raspberry Pi will restart a couple of times.

*Sorry no pictures are available of this step.

Step 4: Complete

After everything has done you can now enjoy your own media Centre.

Just do some research on how to add some of your favorite repositories!! You can contact me for any assistance you might require and for a list of the addons that I use.
