Introduction: Obstacle Avoiding Robot Using EBot8

In this tutorial, you will learn how to build a robot car which will avoid the obstacles present in its path. The concept can be used and applied in various ways according to the conditions.

materials required:

1.Wheels x4

2.Chassis(you can either buy one or make ur own) x1

3.Motors x2

4.Wires

5.Tape

6.Scissors

7.Basic knowledge of code

8.Ebot8 microcontroller. x1
9.Ultrasonic distance sensor x1

10.AA batteries

Step 1: Building the Chassis

we have built our chassis using EBot blocks.you can use any material you want to make your chassis,you can also buy your chassis.after you build your chassis u have to connect the motors to the EBot microcontroller,and add tyres to the motors,we have used two wheels in the front for support and given power to the wheels in the back.

Step 2: Coding the Robot

We have used EBot8 to code the robot.You can also use Arduino to code the robot.the coding for EBot8 has been given above in the picture.The max and min of the ultrasonic can be changed to change the distance readings.

Step 3: Finishing Touches and Add Batteries

W have used 6 AA batteries to power the robot.If you want you can add an extra layer below to store the batteries which will make the robot look neater.

Step 4: This Is a Demo for the Robot
