Step 3 Make four holes in the Bottle Top

Turn the Bottle Top upwards and then using one of the Drawing Pins, make 2 holes at either end.

Make the holes at one end approx 2cm apart, and at the other end 1.5cm apart.

I used the pins but it bent the tip so it was hard to make the other holes and i kept having to find new ones...

if you have an awl, use that instead. it works much better and gives you the ability to use thicker string. :D

I tried holding the end of the paper clip in a lighter flame for 10 seconds, then it easily punched the right size holes in the lid.

i just used the thumbtacks to punch holes
