So you have this kinda HDD that you wanna pry it open. But wondering how to.
I was wondering myself. I had to open this piece up because the power supply did not work properly and I need to change the exterior casing and power supply circuit. I tried to look for any manual or instruction to open it up but to no avail.
So I gave it a try. And to help others, this is the way to do it.
And gonna make it simple and straight forward. All you need is a flathead screwdriver (or something similar).

At the back of the external HDD, you will find a sticker that covers the only screw that is outside of the casing.
Unscrew this first.

So all this ible is for is to show how to remove an external hard drive shell? Wouldn't it be easier just to post a video of this in an ible that covers more than just opening it up?
