Origami Yogurt Spoon!

 by Dandeman321
-I love packing yogurt in my lunches for work. It's healthy and delicious. However, I often run into a problem that prevents me from enjoying my tasty treat: I forget the spoon...

-I hate slurping down the yogurt when I forget a spoon so I came up with this solution using the yogurt's lid that can be made in a matter of seconds! It's about the size of one of those free taste spoons at ice cream places so it may take a bit longer to eat your yogurt but at least you won't have to drink it!

Step 1: Step 1: Preparing the Lid

-The first thing you have to do is prepare your lid for folding. Pull your lid off your yogurt cup and lick it clean.

I've loved Instructables since I first saw it a couple years ago, but have never published an 'ible. I use a similar trick on foil-lidded foods & wanted to search if any have been put up before, should I post it?

Sure, might as well.

I've done it before, it's a good idea when there's no other options. But it is not too clean and healthy... you don't know how the it was handled, or by whom, or where it was stored before it came to you... so, clean the top of the lid first!!!

this is not an good idea if you have dental fillings. this whill shock you if you try it (old metal fillings like i have) the new shiny white wones wont shock you.

Please explain. How would it shock you?
robot797 in reply to daltonjcwApr 28, 2010. 10:14 AM
well my denatal fillings are metal

if you combine 2 metals in a salt enviroment it wil criate current

that is what shocks me

(mouth is salty)
(dentalfilling metal)
(spoon aluminium)

when i have a normal spoon it does nothing (same mettal as filling)
but on a divrend/other metal

This almost seems like a marketable idea for the yogurt companies, it wouldent cost much for them to print a template on the bottom of their lids. . . great ible!

Yeah! I was thinking about that too, but I wouldn't know how to propose the idea and contact companies :(
