Introduction: Origami Pinwheel
Here's my origami pinwheel. I love it because it makes me think of those lovely little seaide towns which are so lucky to be by the sea! I hope you enjoy making one!
You will need :
origami paper or an A4 sheet of paper
scissors ( only if you are using an A4 sheet of paper )
Step 1: Cutting Your A4 Piece of Paper Into a Square
If you are using a normal A4 sheet of paper you will need to cut it into a square here's how :
fold the corner diagonally to where it makes a straight line down at the bottom as shown in photo 1
then cut off the rectangle which is hanging out as shown in photo 2
then unfold it and taa - daa you have a square
Step 2: Now Its Time to Fold!
Photo 1 lay your square piece of paper like shown
Photo 2 fold it in half
Photo 3 fold it in half again
Photo 4 unfold everything
Photo 5 fold left and right corners to the middle crease
Photo 6 turn it over
Photo 7 fold top and bottom corners to the middle
Photo 8 fold top left and bottom right corners to the middle
Photo 9 turn it over
Photo 10 top right and bottom left to the middle
Photo 11 pull the paper from under the flap out
Photo 12 rotate it 180 degrees
Photo 13 pull the paper from under the flap out
Photo 14 turn it over
Photo 15 pull the paper from under the flap out
Photo 16 rotate 180 degrees and pull the paper from under the flap out
Photo 17 your done!
Step 3: Time to Decorate
Now you can get creative with sequins, stickers, felt tip pens or just anything you can find!
You could even connect it to a stick with a paper fastener
