Original pinbadge recycling

Do you have a pinbadge from a boring conference or one which you found in the street?
Have you discover and old forgotten badge in your room?

This instructable tells you how to paint your old, boring or simply ugly badges into a new ones.

(English is not my mother tongue so I have probably made some mistakes. Sorry and please, let me know if I did that)

Step 1: Materials

It's very simply. You only need:

- The pinbagde
- Cheap or ugly nail polish (You can use other too )
- Acrylics, water and paintbrush
- Transparent nail polish

(You don't need a good quality nail polish because you're not going to use it on your nails, so I prefer to use a cheap nail polish and don't spend my money )

Hello! I just found this and I wanted to say it's fantastic! I have a whole bunch of these buttons from various conventions and I was wondering how to reuse them. You gave me the answer! And since you asked... I'd like to point out that the phrase "Take documentary and draw scketches..." is confusing (also sketches is spelled wrong). I'm sorry if it's offensive to correct something like this, I mean no harm! It's just a little hard to understand since it sounds (looks) like you mean that one should write down (document) all the steps they had just taken. It may be better phrased "Do research and draw sketches" which would mean to look around for what you want to draw and, of course, sketch it out for practice. I can't wait for a rainy day when I'm feeling creative. I bet people would love them as presents rather than just throwing them away!

Well, some people told me that badge is the correct name. I think is ambiguous too, but pins in spanish are other thing.... and I did not really know how to call it!!

PS:  in the title of step 3 desing should be  design.  I think the word appears in a few other places too.

I used to make badges from epoxy putty and safety pins. I might have to make that an instructable too.
