This instructable, however, does not make your USB more portable or discreet, in fact it does the opposite. It's a giant plush flash drive!
Well at least it would be hard to lose or misplace it!

On a more practical side, since its so big, you're really not limited to just stuffing an actual flash drive in it. You could stuff a 500 GB portable external drive in there if you wanted to. All the padding the would certainly protect it from any rough handling damage. I imagine one would have to come up with some way to dissipate the heat if they went that route, since the plush would be one effective insulator, but I'm sure that's doable. And then you'd just have to cut some more felt numbers. :)

just kidding ,but it's a great idea...hmmm...maybe mk.2 will have a zipped pocket and backpack straps...then you wouldn't need a bigger bag...super portable usb! take it anywhere! heh heh
