Speaking as one who's vision has deteriorated past the length of my arm....I DON'T MIND CAPS AT ALL. I can see them (and bold print) much better. He did not claim to be a "professional" writer , you people are not his editors nor did invite you to be. He was generous enough to share his idea ....and you are RUDE (must feel akin to being pecked to death by ducks!). GOOD JOB BRIAN, THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
how many devises can this operate? how many batteries can you charge with this to provide power continually at night or without light?
how many of these will it take to meet the power needs of the average home? I'm just curious to know this info so as to consider all possibilities for application.
If you are lucky enough to be around all three feeding that constant energy into a home with one or more....then you are golden.
There are many good systems out there. It all depends what applications you want to use them for.... I changed my account to cid2323 due to the fact I forgot my original......SORRY
But other than the caps, great instructable! I'm curious where you got the solar panel, you mentioned something about it being US Army Surplus?
(and really, caps DO make it harder to read)
As for the caps issue, it's just a clash of the cultures that the Internet is (has been) forcing us as human beings to deal with. Some will adapt to new etiquette in the online culture and others won't. There's no "etiquette" police that I'm aware of...yet.
I took a pic of the wrong battery....the lead free battery was under the table...
