Can i replace IC2 and Q2 with a logic level mosfet, like IRL44N?

I don't think so. IC2 is here to provide simple and secure mosfet gate switching at high freqency ( 1Mhz ).

Can you explain why you add those mosfets ?

Q1 is for reverse polarity protection
Q2 provides higher power output

Are the links for how to make it?

Links are for datasheets, components supliers and for how to make stencil and PCB.
