Introduction: Cut It to Length

Cut it to length. This depends on your size and height and distance desired. Try 1 to 3 feet (0.3 to 0.9 m) for a more concealable weapon.

Step 1: Cut a Hole the Size of Your Round in the PVC

When you cut a hole the size of your round in the PVC with your utility knife in your grip. This will insure easy loading. You options of ammo depend on how big your PVC pipe is. I use BBs, Airsoft Ammo, and small rocks.Do not use deadly rounds in this, the round will not travel fast enough for the intended use and the PVC is not going to withstand the internal pressure required to do so. Watch how you cut you could screw up your project and your hands all in one.

Step 2: Add Grip Tape and Decorate

If you want you can decorate your PVC Blowgun with duct tape or decorative tape. Apply some grip tape too. I added

Step 3: Have Fun

Shoot away. Remember this is not supposed to be a weapon, and even if you used it as one, it wouldn't hurt that much. I hope you enjoyed my Instructable, this is my first time, so tell me about what I can do better in the comments.

Warnings

  1. Be careful of your aim; don't hit where you don't want to be hit.
  2. Do not use deadly rounds in this, the round will not travel fast enough for the intended use and the PVC is not going to withstand the internal pressure required to do so.
  3. Don't worry about aiming at another person; this blowgun is built for safe, soft projectiles only, deadly projectiles require a diameter too small for pvc.
  4. Watch how you cut you could screw up your project and your hands all in one.
