Introduction: PVC Pipe Bracelets!

About: I'm a mom of 4 and I love to craft! Anything and Everything interests me and i love to create in the process of learning.

Does the above bracelets look like PVC?? Well it is...and it's so easy and cheap to make.
I just couldn't resist adding this instructable as I wanted to share this with all of you!

Step 1: What You Need!

Basically you need PVC tube about 3" wide...wider is fine as you can adjust it according to the size you want
you need- emblishments like buttons
jute fiber/ cord
hot glue
drill
wall compound/ wall filler
glue
tong
gloves

Step 2: Make the Shape

Use a heat resistant bowl.
Add water to the width of the bangle.
Bring to boil in the microwave.
Cut a slit in the bangle and immerse it in to boiling water...you would notice it widen.
Use gloves and pick one PVC strip...shape it in to the size you want and quickly immerse into cold water...that way it will quickly take the shape you have made.
Make as many as you want...if water cools simply heat again in microwave.

Step 3: Antique Bracelet

Take one bracelet cuff.
Sand it.
Mix joint compound/ wall filler with glue and apply your texture to the bracelet.
Paint it black and let dry...then spray gold and quickly wipe off so that it would have an antique look.
Find a button that would suit your bracelet.
cut off the excess bit from the back of the button ...mark the location of the holes in a scrap pvc and transfer to the bracelet and drill.
dab hot glue in the holes and quickly glue your button!
Isn't it like super easy?? it looks just like the bangles that is all the rage now! and it cost you basically nothing!

Step 4: Chic Gold Bracelet

This is so ridiculously easy!
Take your bracelet
drill various hole sizes...you can go how you like it here...perhaps drill a pattern??
Sand both sides.
Spray it the color your like!
Isn't it easy??
Let's move to the next!

Step 5: Hemp Bracelet

I've always loved the rustic look so thought to try that
cut a piece of scrap jute fabric.
hot glue it to the edges so that it wouldn't show when you wrap the jute rope.
now hot glue the jute rope right round the bracelet.
chose your embellishment. you can chose lace flowers or buttons or what ever you feel would go with this look
if you chose buttons...cut off the back like you did for the first bracelet...The antique bracelet.
Now hot glue your embellishments!

Aren't these like super easy and super cheap? you can gift all the girls you know with these cute and chic bangles!

Step 6: Please Vote!

I know this is last minute.....but please...if you like this...don't forget to vote!
also..if you make some...please post pictures....would love to see the variations you make :-)
have fun crafting!
