Pac-Man Hand Puppet: a Fun Toy for All Ages!

Materials:

Yellow, White and Black Craft Foam

Hot Glue

Large Round Container: For this exercise, I'm using an over-sized Easter Egg

Scissors

Paper Clip

And a Permanent Ink Marker.

First, you take your round container and put half of it over the edge of your foam before tracing it with your marker. Trace a half circle with your marker. Then you cut it out, and repeat the process over again. Place the corners of your half circles, and with your scissors or hole puncher if you prefer, poke a hole through each. Bend the paper clip as shown in the picture and slide it through the hole (be careful; bend it in a way so it won't hurt your hand when you operate the puppet). Now it should be looking more like Pac-Man.

Step 2:

Now make two smaller half-circles with the black foam and shape it so it will be easier to place your hand inside. With your hot glue, construct a triangular structure like the one in the picture. After this, repeat the process yet again. Once you have completed this, and the the glue has dried, cut out a small rectangle out of your white foam before making an oval shape piece out of your black foam. Glue the white piece onto your puppet and center the black piece in the middle of the white piece to form the eye. And that is how you make a Pac-Man puppet.
