Take a new strap and estimate how long the perimeter is and add about 5 inches or so. Cut the strap.

Weave the strap that you just cut into the sides of the bag.

Weave this strap around the whole bottom. Overlap and tighten the strap so that the vertical straps are pointing up. Clip the horizontal strap where there is excess overlap.
