In this instructable you will paint a paper mache elephant.

You will need:
- paper mache elephant,
- brushes,
- acrylic paint,
- old newspapers/magazines that you do not need,
- and apron.

Step 1: Paint the Top Part of the Elephant

After you finish painting the elephant, place it on the old newspaper to dry for one day.

Do not paint the feet. Otherwise it will stick to old newspapers.

Step 2: Paint the Elephant Feet

After you finish painting the elephant, place it on the old newspaper to dry for one day.

Step 3: Paint the Top Part of the Elephant Again

You might not need this step unless you missed a spot the first time you painted the elephant.

Cover any brown spots that you missed with paint.

After you finish painting the elephant, place it on the old newspaper to dry for one day.

You are now finished.

It takes three nights to paint an elephant.
