Dude, you don't go on a paintball guide saying that airsoft is "better". This is meant for people who either:
a) want to learn to paintball or
b) want to brush up on or learn new tactics for paintball.

To each his own, so don't be putting down paintball, even though airsoft has just as many cons as any sport.

I, for one, used to airsoft, and that's what got me on to paintball. To me, that makes both of them just as good. And this goes out to all the other people that were bad-mouthing airsoft as well. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

Dont say airsoft is "better", you can get the same out of woodsball (even if it is a bit more expensive), and some people also find paintball more fun, myself included. The difference is personal preferance, myself, I dont like airsoft nearly as much, because all your doing is launching 500 BB's at someone, with this plastic toy.

Not trying to flame, but its just personal preferance, and you cannot say one is better than the other.

The average airsoft gun is plastic, and, for the 500 bbs, the average gun shoots waaaaay more. When you think about the fact that each magazine only holds 30 rounds, the average person in the military will only shoot at most, 50-75 rounds in the time it takes an airsofter to go through hundreds. Mostly, what I was trying to say, is you cant say one is better.

Mostly my point was, if you were going for the realism, you dont with the average airsoft day of play, and that neither is technically "better". It's just who's playing it.

And all the airsoft guns I have seen are plastic. When I was interested in Airsoft I only looked at places that had plastic guns.

It seems like a good starter gun, if you've never had one before. I read a few reviews. My friend actually has three of these, too. I've seen them shoot and they have been great for him. I've shot them a few times but not in a game. I say get it.

i say airsoft is if your young 9,10, maybe 11 but if your older paintball is a better investment yes the paintballs are more money but if your like me oyu can get money from a job like work for your parents or artwork in my case i dont get "allowence" but honestly go to walmart and u can get it for 40 bucks and if you say ohh but you need co2 well its usually free or 99 cents so its really better than airsoft...any day
